Fifty-two-year-old Gidea Park man Terrence Gray received a four-week suspended prison sentence and an eight-week curfew after assaulting a man outside Queen’s Hospital, Romford.

Gray was also fined �500 for committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge imposed in January, and ordered to pay his victim �150 compensation for the assault.

Gray, of Kidman Close, beat Peter Moulding outside the Rom Valley Way hospital on August 28. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced by Barkingside magistrates on September 19.

He must stay at home between 7pm and 6am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights until November 11.
