Teenager denies stabbing to death Collier Row boy, 16, at party

A 16-year-old boy has denied murdering Collier Row teenager Charlie Kutyauripo at a birthday party.

The boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – appeared at the Old Bailey for a plea and case management hearing this morning.

Charlie, 16, of Collier Row Lane, died after being stabbed at a 16th birthday party in Woodford Bridge, in Redbridge, on January 9.

The defendant, of Seven Kings, Redbridge, was arrested in Margate and charged three weeks later.

He was remanded in custody for trial on May 16.
