A man from Romford has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in Stanford-le-Hope.
Dusan Samardzija, 22, a student, of Cypress Path, also faces three charges of GBH in connection with the death of Kevin Malthouse.
He appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday September 14 and at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday, September 15.
No pleas have been entered and he has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Tuesday, September 19.
