A man who has pleaded guilty to having an explosive substance under suspicious circumstances is due to appear in court this afternoon (Thursday).
Ian Michael Shingler, 41, of Broadis Way, Rainham, will appear at Basildon Crown Court.
He has pleaded guilty to charges of possessing ammunition without a certificate, possessing a firearm without a certificate, having an explosive substance under suspicious circumstances and possessing indecent photographs.
He has pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing a converted firearm without a certificate and possession/control of an explosive substance.
