Purfleet man Patrick Bipa, 39, was banned from driving for six months after he was found in charge of a car at nearly three times the legal drink-drive limit.
Bipa, of Caspian Way, was breathalysed in New Road, Rainham, on September 16, and found to have 97?g of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35?g per 100ml.
He was ordered to take part in 14 drink-driving sessions and carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work. Costs of �85 must also be paid.
