Police are trying to identify a man in connection with the theft of seven pairs of shorts worth more than £200 from a Brentwood clothing store.
It is believed the man walked into Fat Face, in Brentwood High Street, at about 1.30pm on April 17 before he concealed the women’s denim shorts under his jacket.
Police believe that he then left the store without making an attempt to pay.
Officers hope a member of the public may recognise the man from his clothing.
Anyone that can help should contact Pc Ed Gosling of Brentwood Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
