Police are investigating reports of an assault outside Yates bar in Romford.
An area outside the pub in South Street had been cordoned off this morning as officers stood guarding the crime scene.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed they treated a patient at the scene.
A spokeswomen for LAS said: “We were called at 2.43am today to reports of an incident at South Street, Romford and we sent an ambulance crew.”
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a hospital in north east London.”
Residents took to social media to find out what was going on after they spotted blood on the pavement.
