Heavy police presence has led to one of Romford’s busiest roads being blocked off.
Rush Green Road is currently gridlocked after officers pulled over a car at 11.40am.
One witness said: “It’s mental, the whole road is blocked. There’s an amublance and police cars.”
Posting on twitter, Cllr Robert Benham urged people to avoid the road, saying a “serious incident” had occurred and “8-10” police vehicles were at the scene.
