A man was arrested for possession of cannabis as part of a special police day of action.
The event saw officers from the Metropolitan Police Special Constabulary (MSC) and members of the Heaton Safer Neighbourhoods Team spending the day patrolling the streets of Harold Hill.
The aim of the project was to reduce crime and anti social behaviour.
Acting Police Sergeant Maggie Elgie of Heaton Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “The MSC were especially effective at providing a uniformed deterrent and presence on the ward.
“The officers enjoyed patrolling areas of Harold Hill that they do not usually cover and they all told me of the positive feedback they received from local residents”
