More than £40,000 of Asian gold jewellery was stolen from a house in Upminster earlier this month.
The majority of the items taken on August 15 between 11.45am and 12.45pm were necklaces.
DC Natalie Gilder of Havering CID said: “In many cases Asian gold is not only financially valuable but has deep sentimental attachment for the owner. Photographing valuable items greatly increases your chances of having them recovered by police if they are stolen. Please keep a photographic record of your treasured possessions.”
Anyone who has seen this jewellery or has been offered an item pictured for sale should contact DC Gilder by calling 101. Alternatively, to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously call 0800 555 111, quoting reference 541206/13.
