A man has been charged in connection with an assault which left a 21-year-old Brentwood man with a life-threatening injury.
Neil Richards, 27, of Upminster, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after an incident in William Hunter Way, Brentwood, which occurred at 3.30am on October 13 last year.
The victim is now receiving rehabilitation treatment.
Richards has been bailed to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on February 20.
