A young man was left with serious head injuries after being attacked outside Buddha Lounge in North Street, Romford, early Sunday morning (August 21).
The 24-year-old was struck around 4am with a blunt implement, believed to be a bat or crowbar, by two white men wearing white shirts.
The suspects got away in a transit van, while the young man was taken to Queen’s Hospital.
Police have now called for witnesses to come forward. Call Detective Constable Nigel Bunton at Romford Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
The Recorder would like to make it clear that this incident happened outside the Buddha Lounge and not inside, as a previous article may have insinuated.
