A man has been arrested on suspicion of making a racist rant a Harold Hill primary school.
Police were called to Broadford Primary School, Faringdon Avenue, at 3.30pm today after reports of an argument.
One man, who is said not to be a parent of a child attending the school or a teacher, was escorted from the premises and arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated Section 4 public order offence – using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour towards another person.
He has been taken to a north London police station where he remains in custody.
Headteacher, Malcolm Drakes, said a man was quickly escorted from the school premises following the unfortunate incident and praised police for their quick response.
