You are now able to go to your nearest polling station and vote for the person you want to represent you in the council - but which polling station should you go to?

The polling card sent to you by Havering Council should tell you where to vote but if you have lost this, contact election services on 01708 432444.

They will give you a reference number that you can cross-reference with a list of stations HERE.

The winners of the elections will be announced throughout the day on Friday and the Recorder will be reporting live from the scene.

Ukip has been predicted to get a considerable number of seats and it is expected that no party will have an overall majority in the town hall, according to a London Communications Agency report.
