A man sought by police in connection with an alleged assault on a Havering bus handed himself into police for interview yesterday following a media appeal.
The 31-year-old was interviewed under caution but not arrested. The investigation has now been discontinued and no further action will be taken due to there being insufficient evidence.
The alleged assault on a teenager was said to have happened on a 103 bus on Oldchurch Road, Romford, on April 29.
