A woman has been charged after a mother alleged she was racially assaulted after asking a bus passenger to move her pram - containing a dog.
Estelle Frost, 67, of Slewins Lane, Hornchurch, was charged with assault by beating and causing distress by using racially aggravated words on Friday last week.
The charges follow an incident said to have taken place after a 41-year-old mother boarded a 370 bus to Romford in July.
The victim alleges she was racially abused and attacked when she asked a woman to make space for her baby.
Ms Frost will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday November 21.
