Havering’s Volunteer Police Cadets took part in a day of action with Romford Town Safer Neighbourhoods Team.
The cadets helped deliver 250 crime prevention packs in the Carlton Road area. They talked to householders about the SNT’s work and encouraged them to join the local Neighbourhood Watch.
PCSO Sue Sullivan of Romford Town SNT said: “I would like to thank all of the cadets for their assistance. They were all extremely enthusiastic and performed their tasks to the very highest standard.”
Cadet leader Shannon Sullivan said: “The cadets and I really enjoyed this event. It was lovely to be able to meet the residents of Carlton Road and offer them crime prevention advice on a personal level.”
