Havering’s Walk to School event hailed a success

More than 40 Havering schools took part in a Walk to School event earlier this month.

The event, in Harrow Lodge Park, was hailed a success by Havering Police’s Safer Transport Team and Havering Council who organised it.

Pupils from each of the schools involves made shields for the Commonwealth theme. There were also fun events throughout the day including art and crafts, food tasting, dance workshops and world sports.
