Children from Gidea Park College were very pleased to see two furry visitors.
Police dogs China and Oz made a special appearance with the Romford Town Safer Neighbourhoods Team β and showed the enraptured youngsters how they search for hidden property.
PCSOs Nick Brunning and Sue Sullivan and PC Tony Butler also gave a talk about road safety.
PCSO Brunning said: βIt is important that we engage with the children at a young age and this was certainly achieved today.β
