A father and son have appeared in court on drugs and gun charges.
Peter Jacovou, 54, of Capstan Close, Chadwell Heath, and his son, also called Peter Jacovou, 30, of Rollason Way, Brentwood, were charged with six offences.
They were each charged with being in possession of a class A drug with intent to supply, being in possession of a class B drug with intent to supply, being concerned with the supply of cocaine, possessing a firearm without a licence, possession of an automatic weapon, and possessing ammunition without a certificate.
They appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Monday and were remanded in custody until their trial in May.
