A police car ended up perched on railings after a road traffic smash on Sunday.
The incident which also involved a grey BMW happened in North Street at the junction with Burnway, Hornchurch, on Sunday (July 24) at around 12pm.
Firefighters from Hornchurch fire station attended where they used specialist cutting equipment to free a woman BMW driver from her car.
Crews from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) treated the woman and two police officers at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
It is not known yet whether the police car had been on a blue light call.
