ARMED raiders struck twice in a day at a jewellery shop in Hornchurch but fled empty-handed.
Three youths, at least one of them wielding a gun and wearing a mask, entered Solitaires in North Street after tricking their way through the entry system after 3pm on Tuesday, October 19.
When staff at the family run business, which has made jewellery for Barbara Windsor,Vicky Michelle and Frank Bruno, raised the alarm the robbers ran off.
They returned some time later before leaving again without any valuables.
