Queues of crime fanatics waited in line at the weekend for a book signing of Martina Cole’s latest novel.
The 55-year-old crime writer visited the The Liberty, in Romford, where she greeted her fans outside WH Smiths and signed hundreds of copies of her new book, The Good Life.
WH Smith store manager, Andy Sweatman, said: “We were thrilled to welcome the acclaimed crime author Martina Cole to our Romford store.
“It’s always great to host signings but we’re especially excited about this one!”
Dubbed the queen of crime drama, Martina Cole is best known for her work writing about gangland London in novels including Dangerous Lady and The Take which was adapted into a television series starring Tom Hardy and Shaun Evans.
