A 22-year-old was handed a suspended sentence and a community order after leading police on a car chase through Harold Hill.
Daniel Gordon Williams, of Maunder Close, Chafford Hundred, drove a Ford Puma through Bryant Avenue, Straight Road and the A127 on June 3.
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, failing to stop his vehicle when ordered to by the police, and driving without insurance.
Magistrates at Barkingside Court gave him a 12 week prison sentenced suspended for 12 months, ordered him to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work, as well as pay �30 in costs to the CPS on June 19.
