Police are looking for a suspect who was wearing a blue hood top after money was stolen from a parked car.
Two bags of cash on the passenger seat of a blue Ford Fiesta parked in Church Road, Kelvedon Hatch, outside the Nisa shop, was stolen on the day before Christmas eve.
The suspect entered the car and stole the money at about 9.25am on Tuesday December 23.
Anyone with information should call PC Fiona Smith at Brentwood police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
