Detectives are appealing for witnesses to a crash that left a teenage motorcyclist in hospital with serious injuries.
The 19-year-old was riding an orange 125 trials bike when he collided with a Volkswagen Polo in Hall Lane, Upminster, near the junction with the A127 Southend Arterial Road at 12.30am yesterday.
The teenager suffered serious head and leg injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
