A derelict school has been targeted by suspected arsonists twice in two weeks.
Around 20 firefighters from Hornchurch and Romford fire station attended the blaze at the former Dunningford School in Upper Rainham, Rainham on Thursday September 1 at around 7.30pm.
Crews used specialist breathing equipment and a water hose to bring the fire under control after three hours.
The school was originally targeted on Monday August 22 when firefighters attended a blaze in the early hours of the morning.
More than half of the building has been damaged by the fire.
Police have confirmed that the fire is being treated as arson.
