A man caught filming up women’s skirts on the Tube had more than 120 similar video clips on his home computer, a court heard.
Nicholas Holt, 41, of Brook Road, Romford, was arrested after being seen by suspicious staff as he recorded a commuter leaving Tottenham Court Road station.
Police are unable to charge him over 128 shots of other victims found at his home because the women cannot be identified, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.
‘Addiction’
“These were of similar up-skirting taking place over a period of time,” said prosecutor Darren Watts.
Holt admitted a single count of outraging public decency.
Andrew Moxon, mitigating, said: “My client has been attending the Marylebone Centre which deals with psychological therapies including sexual addiction, which this would fall under.
“He has also been using, since that incident, a mobile phone device that does not have a camera device on it.”
The court heard station staff stepped in after complaints from other Tube passengers on March 13.
Mr Watts said Holt was brought back to the station, as was the woman he filmed.
His mobile phone was checked by officers who found two video files both created at that station, with the “up-skirting” involved.
Police searched Holt’s home where they found 32 recordings on one hard drive and 96 on another.
District Judge Quentin Purdy adjourned sentencing until September 25 for reports.
Holt was given conditional bail.
