Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £3,000 for any information that may lead to the arrrest of a dangerous man with links to Romford wanted in connection with an acid attack.

David Hudson, 52, is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Leigh-on-Sea in October 2017 that saw a noxious substance thrown over a man in his 20s.

The victim was taken to hospital immediately and treated for injuries to his face.

The public are advised not to approach Hudson. He is 5ft 10ins tall, has a scar on his right eyebrow and a tribal tattoos on his right arm.

A reward of up to £3,000 is now being offered for information given to the charity that leads to his arrest.

Crimestoppers east regional manager Phil Breckon said: “This acid attack has shocked the community and left the victim requiring hospital treatment for his injuries. Everyone has a right to feel safe from crime and this type of assault is very distressing.
