Three men from East London have been charged with conspiracy to steal following reports of vehicles being stolen from garages in Kent.

It is alleged that in each case vehicles valued at more than £250,000 were taken from forecourts of dealerships.

On March 24 Phillip Christmas, 30, of Galleywood Crescent, Romford, and 35 year-old Stacey Jestico of Greatfields Road, Barking, were charged with conspiracy to steal.

Philip West, also 35, of Scrattons Terrace, Barking, was charged with conspiracy to steal earlier this month.

Mr Jestico and Mr West have also been charged with two counts of shoplifting, which relate to incidents at two stores in Canterbury on July 31 2014.

All three defendants are due to appear for a preliminary hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on April 27.
