South Tottenham man, 25, fined for assaulting police officer in Romford

A 25-year-old South Tottenham man was fined £55 for assaulting a police officer in Romford.

On September 2, Martin McDonagh assaulted PC Sue Underdown while she was on duty in Rush Green Road. He was found guilty and sentenced at Romford Magistrates’ Court on Friday October 12.

McDonagh, of Clyde Road, must also pay PC Underdown £50 compensation, as well as paying £140 costs and a victim surcharge of £15.
