Romford stabbing: Police confirm 19-year-old victim stable in hospital after attack outside supermarket

Police investigating the stabbing in outside Lidl in Romford town centre earlier today (Tuesday, November 20) have confirmed the victim is in a stable condition in hospital.
The 19-year-old was attacked in the supermarket’s car park in Atlanta Boulevard at around 1.15pm.
The London Ambulance Service was called and paramedics took him as a priority to hospital.
This evening, the Metropolitan Police have tweeted a statement reading: “The condition of the 19-year-old man stabbed this afternoon outside a supermarket in #Romford has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
“There has been no arrest at this early stage.
“Enquiries continue. Witnesses are urged to call police in #Havering via 101.”
Police officers closed Atlanta Boulevard for several hours while the crime scene was examined.
According to a bus driver who saw the incident, the victim was attacked by two other young men upon leaving the supermarket.
