Police were called at 11:48am after a lorry shed its load on the A12


A car wash brawl in Rainham resulted in two arrests and one man being taken to hospital.

Police and ambulance crews were called to a business in New Road at 1.19pm yesterday to reports of a group of men fighting.

One man in his early 40s was arrested on suspicion of GBH and another man in his 30s taken to hospital with head injuries.

A woman was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with the incident.

Police and forensics remained at the scene for most of the afternoon. Detectives are investigating and inquiries ongoing.
