A former driving instructor has been arrested on suspicion of committing sexual touching offences in Brentwood.

The allegations were made by a 29-year-old Ongar woman in October and refer to a period between September 2001 and September 2002.

The arrested man, aged 72, has been released on bail pending further enquiries until January 4 2014.

Anyone with information should call Pc Leigh Valentine at Brentwood police station on 101.
