Twenty-two-year-old Oliver Farr, of Hornchurch, was fined £200 and had his driving license endorsed with seven penalty points for driving a car whose presence on the road caused an accident, and for failing to stop.

Farr, who pleaded guilty, was also ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs at the court hearing, which took place at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday October 12.

Farr, of Walden Way, was driving a BMW on Essex Gardens in Hornchurch when the accident happened on September 30.

During the accident, damage was caused to a Peugeot, a Citroen and a Nissan.
