Archant

Havering Volunteer Police Cadets (VPC) went to the Mayor of Havering’s Civic Service at St Edward the Confessor Church in Romford Market Place on Sunday.

They also gave a helping hand at the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (Mopac) consultation at the Salvation Army Hall in Romford High Street on Monday.

Pc Matt Ingram, volunteer police cadet co-ordinator, said: “It is important that the VPC become involved in prestigious events that take place in Havering. We were glad to be able to assist in ensuring that both functions ran smoothly and were a success.”
