A driver who ran over a father-of-one found dead at his home the following day has pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving.
Ndricim Kurti, 31, hit 41 year-old Daniel Hancock as he crossed the junction of Brentwood Road and Park Lane in Romford.
CCTV captured Kurti helping Mr Hancock to his feet after the accident on October 31 last year before driving off.
Mr Hancock was able to walk away from the accident despite suffering a head injury but died at home the following day.
Kurti, of Plough Court, Broadis Way, Rainham, appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday to plead guilty to death by careless driving.
The court heard he has no previous convictions and a clean driving licence.
Judge Anthony Morris QC adjourned sentencing until September 2.
He told Kurti, who is on unconditional bail: “I hold out no promises as to the eventual sentence. That is entirely open to the court.”
