Upminster man Patrick Coveney must carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work for his conduct in Hornchurch High Street in February.
On February 23, the 23-year-old, of Aldborough Road, used or threatened to use unlawful violence towards another person.
Coveney, who pleaded guilty, was also ordered at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on April 16 to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
