Teenager, 18, fined for possession of cannabis

Possession of cannabis in Harrow Lodge Park earned a teenager a £73 fine and a bill for a further £100 when he appeared before magistrates.

Sean Murray, 18, of Warren Drive, Hornchurch, pleaded guilty to possession of a class B drug. He was found with the cannabis on October 20, and was dealt with at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on November 4.

He must pay £80 costs and a £20 victim surcharge in addition to the fine. The drugs will be destroyed.
