A 40-year-old man of no fixed abode was given a 12-month conditional discharge after stealing 30 cans of deodorant.
Marian Dandos stole the items, worth a total of £103, from Tesco in Bridge Road, Rainham, on April 15.
He must pay a victim surcharge of £15.
Dandos appeared before Barkingside magistrates on April 17.
