More than £100,000 has been spent this year by Havering Council to get the borough into the Christmas spirit.

A Freedom of Information request submitted by estate agent sellhousefast.uk revealed that almost £24,000 has been spent on Christmas trees, £43,500 on lights and almost £34,000 on festive light switch-ons in the town centres.
