The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School has appointed a new headteacher.
English teacher Dr David Parry, who is currently deputy head at the Upminster secondary school, will take over the role from David Mansfield on April 1.
Dr Parry was involved in setting up the school’s link with Canterbury Christ Church University and also works with the University of London as a visiting research associate.
Dr Parry said: “It is a great privilege to have been selected to be head of such a magnificent school, with its rich history and sense of tradition.
“There is a unique vibrancy here and a genuine allegiance to our motto of ‘love as brethren’. I am looking forward to leading the school to even higher levels of achievement.”
