The woman was robbed of her car at knifepoint


A conman robbed a Rainham woman at knifepoint and made off with her BMW – after she advertised it in Auto Trader.

The suspect, an Asian man aged about 30 to 35, arranged to look at the car in Fyfield Road on June 23rd.

But while viewing the silver 1 series BMW at 3.50pm, he threatened the 49-year-old victim with a knife and took the car.

The man was described as about 5’8”, with short black hair and a beard. He was wearing a shiny Adidas tracksuit. The car has not been recovered.
