Youngsters had a lesson on cycle safety.
Students from St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School in Lowshoe Lane, Collier Row enjoyed a bike ride with PCSO June Richardson from Mawneys Safer Neighbourhood Team recently.
The lesson was part of Cycle Awareness Day and was organised by Cycle Training East, a company that promotes the love of cycling.
The students also had fun playing relay games in teams.
PCSO Richardson said: “It’s very important that children learn from an early age about road awareness whilst out on their bikes. The course was very demanding especially on an adult size bike!”
