Volunteers hosted an official opening of their new charity shop to celebrate with the community.

The Little Havens Hospice store, Collier Row Road, Collier Row, hosted an event last week, attended by staff, fundraisers and the mayor of Havering, Cllr Brian Eagling.

The shop has been welcoming customers since December and supports the hospice’s work with youngsters who have life-limiting illnesses.

Manager Susan Barnes said: “The shop has really taken off with a bang and we’ve had a fantastic first few weeks.

“It’s been lovely to hear lots of compliments.”

The shop is appealing for more volunteers.
