A head-on collision in Collier Row yesterday has left a 42-year-old man in hospital with multiple injuries described by police as “serious”.
The man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service after his yellow Vindicator sports car was in collision with a blue BMW 3 series car at about 12.45pm. The crash took place in Romford Road, near its junction with Whalebone Lane North.
The BMW driver, a 48-year-old woman, stopped at the scene and was taken to hospital suffering a neck injury. She has since been discharged.
