A man and woman were arrested after officers found a “large quantity” of what they believe to be Class A drugs during a raid on a Romford home.
A stun gun and CS gas spray were found hidden in a wine rack by officers from Brooklands Safer Neighbourhoods Team, during the search of the Jutsums Lane home on November 15.
A pit-bull type dog was also seized under The Dangerous Dog Act.
Sgt Stuart Mitchell, of the Brooklands team, said: “This was an excellent result by the team. We were very pleased to discover such a large quantity of drugs as well as taking two dangerous weapons off the street. I would urge any member of our community with information or suspicions that drug dealing may be happening close to where they live to contact either their Safer Neighbourhood Team or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
A man and woman, both aged 25, were arrested and have been bailed to return to Romford Police Station pending the result of forensic analysis of the property seized.
