A car was driven across gardens and ploughed into a house in Easedale Drive, Elm Park, this morning.

Police were called to the scene at 7.29am.

A spokesman for the police said: “It looks like a medical episode at the wheel.

“The car was driven across some gardens causing damage.”

The spokesman added that the caller had said the vehicle had driven “into my friends house”.

He added: “The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital and doesn’t appear to be in a serious condition.”

No arrests have been made.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service confirmed the driver was taken to hospital “without blue lights”
