Police and emergency services were called after a car crashed into the railings at the Oldchurch roundabout in Romford.

A spokeswoman from the Met Police said that they were called at 8.26 this morning (Thursday, March 29).

They said that two cars were involved in the collision at the junction of Oldchurch Road and Waterloo Road and that London Ambulance Service were also called to the scene.

A passer-by said that they saw the collision and that one of the cars had crashed into the railings near the roundabout.

They said that no-one had been hurt and that they were waiting on recovery vehicles to clear the scene.
