Quick-thinking bystanders rescued a woman from her overturned car in North Ockendon last week.
Emergency services arrived shortly afterwards, and an ambulance crew treated the woman, believed to be in her early 20s, and took her to Queen’s Hospital, Romford. Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Havering firefighters were also on the scene but did not need to cut anyone out.
The incident happened near the junction of Ockendon Road and Church Lane at about 5.40 on Thursday, December 6.
